This post will help female candidates to understand individual obstacles for females in ISSB. These Individual Obstacles are equally applicable on all-female courses like Lady cadet course, GDP and CAE, etc etc
We have described all the obstacles in very detail with pictures. Please see the post 9 GTO Individual ISSB Obstacles: Step by Step Guide.
As a girl, you have to complete 5 obstacles in 2 minutes
- tyre,
- hanging bridge
- boxing ring,
- high jump,
- and ditch.
To facilitate girls, your GTOs might allow some of the candidates to jump over two painted lines instead of the ditch.
I would suggest that you keep your eyes open, your mind sharp, and just go through the obstacles with a little bit of planning. They are easy – don’t listen to girls who say that you can’t do them for you can.
Tire Obstacle
For tire, hold the rope firmly in your hands, and push your legs (both at the same time or one by one) through the tire.
Hanging Bridge
For the log, the tip, I will give is that don’t walk on the log. Rather, complete the obstacle by running in such a way that you only place one or two steps on the log. If you start walking slowly on the log, it will start shaking and you will fall down.
High Jump and Crossing Ditch
The high jump and ditch can easily be done if you don’t lose momentum. Just run from a long distance and jump as you are in front of the obstacles – Allah will take care of the rest.
You should Prepare for only 5 obstacles from these total 9 obstacles which are for boys.
