155 PMA long course announcement, Details, and Information

Pakistan army has announced registration for 155 PMA Long Course. Following are the complete details and information. 

Dates of Online Registration (Expected dates)

Registration will be EXPECTED open from 02 October 2024 to 06 November 2024. You can register yourself online through the official website of the Pak Army. Link to Pak Army official website https://Joinpakarmy.gov.pk

Eligibility conditions for PMA Long Course

Gender: Male
Marital Status: Unmarried ( Married serving personnel of armed Forces over 20 years of age are eligible)
Qualification: Intermediate or Equivalent/Graduate 2 Years/ Graduate 4 years
Physical Standards: Minimum Height 5.4 (162.5cm)
Weight: As per Body Weight

Qualification required for PMA Long Course

1. Intermediate or Equivalent:
FA/FSc/Equivalent Minimum 55% 
Candidates promoted in FSc part-1 and advanced Subsidiary exam 2022 can also apply on the ‘Hope Certificate of 55% Marks’ duly issued by the Head of the Institution.
Age for intermediate candidates as of 1st June 2023 ( 17 – 22 Years)Relaxable for three months both in upper and lower age limit.
2. Graduates (2 years) and Serving Pak Navy/PAF personnel
Age as of 1st June 2023 ( 17 – 23 years)Relaxable for three months both in upper and lower age limit.
3. Graduates with 4 years Programme(BS/BA-Hons/BBA/BPA)
Age as of 1st June 2023 ( 17 – 24 years)
No age Relaxation
4. Serving Army Soldier
Age as of 1st June 2023 ( 17 – 25 Years)

Other Conditions for Academic Qualification

  • Candidates who secure 60%marks or above in BA/BSc/ BA-Hons and BBA/BPA/BS, with 50% marks in FA/FSc are eligible for Pakitan Military Academy long Course.
  • A level candidates applying in Pakistan with aggregate 55% marks are eligible without seeking an equivalence certificate as calculated by IBCC. However, all the candidates who passed À level and equivalent examination from abroad or have passed from Pakistan with results less than three Cs are Required to submit an equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.
  • Repeater candidates must report at concerned Army Selection and Recruitment Centres from.

The initial test will include:

  1. Written/Intelligence:
    Written/Intelligence Test will be based on Multiple choice questions from English, Math, Pak Studies, Islamist, and General Knowledge.

  1. Medical Examination
  2. Physical tests:
    1.6 km Run – 8 minutes
    Pull-ups – 3 repetitions in 2 Minutes
    Push-ups – 15 repetitions in 2 Minutes
    Crunches – 20 repetitions in 2 Minutes
    Ditch Crossing – 7.4 feet

  3. Initial Interview:
    Candidates clearing written, Medical & Physical Test will be finally interviewed by an Interview Panel
    Each Candidate will be given Marks out of 20. A candidate securing less than 10 Marks will be considered a fail and Will not be given an ISSB form.

Further Selection Procedure

After a successful Initial exam, medical, and interview, Candidates will be tested by the ISSB examination. Further nomination of candidates for ISSB will be done by the Personnel Administration Directorate through merit. Detailed Medical examinations for ISSB Recommended candidates will be carried out at nearby Combined Military hospitals. The final Selection will be made at General Headquarters on the basis of the candidate’s performance.

Documents Required at Army Selection and Recruitment Centres

  • Original Certificate/ Detailed Marks Sheet of Matric/FA/FSc/Equivalent.
  • Computerized National Identity card for 18 years and above or computerized form “B” along with Guardian’s computerized National Identity card (Father or Mother) for less than 18 years of age.
  • One attested photocopy of the above-mentioned documents
  • 3× passport size colored photos duly attested (front and back) by principal/ Class-1 gazetted officer.
  • Original as well as one photocopy of the “Not Recommended” letter by ISSB are also Required for “Repeater candidates.


Note: Old National Identity card will not be Accepted
