Hello, I want to confirm that can a candidate join PAF as a GDMO if he had surgery of femur, 12 14 years ago and he can function normally.
You will be referred to a worth specialist, and expert opinion will be sought on this issue. If the angulation is perfect and there is no abnormality in functions, You will be declared fit.
And Is vitiligo on finger tips and on foot declared as unfit?
Yes
AOA, I was checking out the site to see if registration had started. I saw that there was new registration tab but the site seems to be down. Has the registration started?
No, The site is working and No new registration is started. Currently Only pma long course 150 registration is in process and it will end on 15th May. After the completion of 150 pma long course Registration, Next short service commission posts will be announced.
Ooooh that’s awesome! By short service commission you mean for Airforce right?
May I please know when it is expected?
Air Force will announce short service commission jobs soon. Because they have announced Long courses and Non commissioned courses earlier. Now the next turn will be for short service commission registration.
I see so that’s how it works, I was wondering when it would start. I’m glad it’ll start soon. Thankyou!
I asked in a Facebook group regarding this as well and they say that PAF medical branch will start registration in September :/ is that true? Because that’s so late….and if they announce it in September, that’s only 3 months away from December which is when they next announce it usually…
Or do you mean SSRC for army?
Yes, Soldiers Recruitment and short service commission recruitment are in the next Phase for Pak army.
Will this new phase be for females as well? Because sometimes they announce SSRC in May June but its only for males
In Shaa Allah I’ll be applying to both army and airforce then (if the registration starts around the same time hopefully). Let’s see where fate takes me, whether it’s army or airforce I’ll be happy. Just hope I manage to get selected
Wish you best of luck. Keep your Aim high and Think Broadly. Life will give you alot of opportunities to excell. Don’t focus on few fields instead explore all the possible options.
