2nd Lieutenant
2nd / second Lieutenant is the junior-most rank in the Army commissioning. This rank is awarded after completion of training. This rank falls below Lieutenant. This rank is represented by Star as shown in the below picture.
2nd Lieutenants are recent graduates of Pakistan military academy or officers training programs, and they are responsible for leading small units and teams of soldiers, sailors, or airmen. They typically hold this rank for a period of two to three years before being promoted to Lieutenant.
Lieutenant
A lieutenant is a military officer rank that is used in many countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. It is typically the junior-most commissioned officer rank, above the rank of Second Lieutenant.

Captain
The captain is above the lieutenant and below the major rank in the army. Captain rank is awarded after 6 years of service in the army. Captain rank is one of the most attractive ranks in the army.

Army rank above the captain is called Major. This rank is represented by a Cresent and Star in the Pakistan army. Two to Three hundred soldiers are under command of the major rank. Similarly Major command through Captain, Lieutenant, and second lieutenants.

Brigadier
The brigadier rank is junior to the general and senior to the Colonel ranks in the army. Brigadier rank commands the army brigades through Colonels and junior ranks. Brigadier to General ranks are called Star ranks. Brigadier Rank officer used 01 STAR on his vehicle which shows the VIP.
Major General
This is the first general rank in the army. This is a Star general rank. Major general rank commands Zones or cores of the army.
Lieutenant general
The 3-star general Rank, Who commands different directorates in general headquarters. This rank falls below the General rank and above the Major general rank.
General
General is the Highest Rank in the Army i.e. 4-star general Rank, The BOSS of the whole army. 4 Star general can be a chief of army staff or Chief of a joint staff committee in Pakistan.
