PAF ISSB: Recommended candidate experience

If you are looking for ISSB recommendation letter, then this experience will help you, in your ISSB test preparation. Remember, This is an old ISSB experience from 103 PAF air defence Batch. All forces ISSB process is the same. You should prepare yourself accordingly. This ISSB experience Occurred in ISSB Kohat. The Hall name might be different in other ISSB locations.

ISSB Arrival day activities

• Luggage was checked and mobile phones were collected in the waiting area.
• After being in the ISSB, All the candidates were gathered in the and “Chacha” gave the rooms to the group of 12 candidates.
• But we were only 4 in the single room.
• We were asked to leave our luggage in the room and to come down to have a tea break.
• After that we were called in “JOHAR HALL” for the form filling and checking of documents.
• “Strangest day” this topic was given to me in the form filling.
• The whole day we just filled the forms.
• At the time of Maghrib we got free.

Day 1 at ISSB

After having breakfast once again we were called for the psychology tests.
We did “Sentence completion” of Urdu and English. The time allotted for each set was 6 minutes.
“Word association test”
You have to make a sentence in 09 seconds. Word will be appear on the screen for 09 seconds and then next word will appear.
100 sentences you’ve to make out of 100 words.
“Picture story” was there 4 images were showed for specific time period.
Every picture was showed one by one.
“Story completion”
“I saw a girl alone on the road…….”

2nd day…

We were called in the “JOHAR HALL”.
One by one the number of GTOs came, announced the names of 7 or 8 or more than it candidates and took them with him.
We were 8 candidate in the group.
our Group discussion topic was
” kia haftey kee chutti se bijli ke bohran per qabu paya jaasakta hai?” Ye Us time ka topic tha, Jab Pakistan me bahut zyada loadshedding thee.
Lecture topic: “Jahalat kabhi kabhar nemat hoti hai”.
Little bit good in the “Military planning” and did many fouls.but my effort appreciated by GTO.
GTO asked us to wear sports kit.
After that, GTO took us in the task area for The “progressive group task”.
We did just only 1.
Then, ” Half group task”.
It was about to be completed but he asked us to stop.
“Command task” was good.
“Final group task” was completed.
I did 08 Obstacles out of 9.

“Deputy interview Experience”

Red light was for our group.
I: knocked the door.
He: yes, come.
I: ASS-SALAM-O-ALAIKUM
He: Wa-Alaikum-Ass-Salam kese ho?
I: I’m good.
He: kia kartey ho?
I: sir, student hoo’n XII ke papers diye hai’n ABHI recently.
He: Abbu kia kartey hai’n?
I: sir, homeopathic doctor hai’n.
He: acha beta is table ka area BATAO.
I: Told
He: acha ye BATAO ke Hazrat Ismail KEE walda ka name kia tha.
I: Told
He: mariyam mukhtar KEE waalid kon they.
I: sorry sir.
He: 0.1÷0.001?
I: Told
He: AIK tie 350 KEE hai uska 40%?
I: Told
He: height SE dar lagta hai?
I: nahi Sir.
He: paani,depth?
I: nahi lagta sir.
He: q join karna chahtey ho PAF?
I: bta Diya Apni way of talking sy
He: koi relative Jo serve karrahe ho?
I: gee Sir taya hain or aik 2 cousins.
He: okay thank you.

Psychologist Interview

knocked the door
Psychologist: yes, come in.
I: ASS-SALAM-O-ALAIKUM Ma’m.
Psychologist : Wa-Alaikum-Ass-Salam betho.
I: thank you.
Psychologist : Your name please
I: yes.
Psychologist : Abbu kia kartey hain?
I: Told
Psychologist : unho ne TUMHE Mota honey k liye dawa nahi dee?
I: nahi Ma’m I’m fit.
Psychologist : okay beta.
Psychologist : height SE dar lagta hai?
I: nahi Ma’m.
Psychologist : paani SE?
I:nahi Ma’m nahi lagta.
Psychologist : but tumne likha hai ismey k lagta hai.
I: nahi Ma’m mene nahi likha.
Psychologist : acha beta kahan rehte ho?
I: told
Psychologist : roads or motorway wagera ban gae?
I:nahi mam ABHI kam chal RAHA hai ABHI hamara he road ban RAHA hai.
Psychologist : or highway?
I: ge mam uska BHI kaam CHAL RAHA hai.
Psychologist : OK, thank you.
