How to Join PAF as Admin and special duties Officer?

You can join PAF as an admin and special duties  in two categories.

1. FSc Based

2. Graduation Based

Both courses have different requirements. We will discuss requirements separately. Let’s start from the FSc-based course.

Joining PAF as A&SD officer after Fsc

Admin and Special duties officer requirements

Age requirements: maximum 22 years

Commission type: Permanent commission is granted after joining through Fsc-based course.

Course category: Long course (requires 4 years of training)

Educational requirements: FSC in Pre.medical, Pre.engineering, Computer science or FSc with Physics and any two subjects from Mathematics, statistics, Biology, Computer science.

Training Duration: 04 Years

Award of Rank: Flying Officer

Award of Degree: BS in Aviation Management

Joining PAF as ASD after Graduation

Educational requirements: BS in science subjects, BE / BS in civil Engineering, Masters in other subjects ( See advertisement for details of subject)

There must be a Minimum Second Division in BS / graduation degree to be eligible in the course.

Training Duration: The training duration of Admin and Special Duties Officer is 06 months for the graduate course.

Award of rank after training: The rank of Flying Officer (equivalent in Army: Lieutenant) is awarded on successful completion of training in PAF Academy.

Height and Weight, Eyesight and Age Limits

same as other branches and FSc-based course

Height Requirement: 5 Feet and 4 inches (minimum height requirement) for males. Female candidates should have a minimum height of 4 feet and 10 inches, lesser than that will be ineligible for the course.

The upper age limit to be eligible for the graduate course is less than 30 years. The age is calculated from the course joining date.
