How to Join PAF as account officer?

Who is an account officer and what is the Job of an account officer?

Pakistan Air Force has multiple departments to run its organization. One department is the account branch. The account branch is responsible for receiving budgtary amount and distributing it for the financial requirements, One simple example is the salaries of the employees. So Account officer is the leader of the team of Junior account assistants and fulfills the Role of head of accounts at each station. He is responsible for all the tasks related to accountancy and correspondence with central accounts.

What are the criteria for joining PAF as an account Officer?

There is No Long course for the account officer and one can Join only after graduation Degree (16 Years of education). The following are the requirements to be eligible for the account officer post in the Pakistan Air Force.

• Age should be between 22 to 30 years and it should be less than 30 on the Joining date of the Academy.
• The height requirement is the same as others, and a candidate must be 5 feet and 4 inches. There is No relaxation in height.
• Married and unmarried, both can apply.
• Six months of training before starting a career in the Pakistan Air Force.
• A candidate must have this Qualification before applying for account officer: BS in Accounting, Financial Management, ACCA, CA, etc
• All other requirements are the same as other posts.
