This post will help you understand about the Criteria for Airwoman Induction in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
FEMALE MEDICAL ASSISTANT (FMAs)
- Gender: Only Females are allowed. Males can join through regular airman induction.
- Marital Status: Unmarried candidates can apply for this post.
- Age Limit:16 to 22 Years (1 year Relaxation Acceptable)
- Height:147 cm or more (Greater or equal to 4 feet 10 inch)

Qualification Required for FMA
Matric with Biology subject securing 60% marks in aggregate and 47% marks (70 or above out of 150) in English. Candidates condoned with a star in only one of the subjects i.e. Urdu, Pak Studies, Islamiat are also eligible.
Rural Area Candidates:
Candidates with Matric Science having 50% marks. Minimum 33% marks in Physics, Maths, Chemistry, and English (50 and above marks out of 150) are eligible for all trades of airmen cadre.
FMA Selection Process
The first step is Online registration at the official website joinpaf.gov.pk, after the Online Registration, One can download the registration slip where the test date and Center with applicable time of the day is mentioned.
Initial Online Computerized Test
Once you register yourself, You will appear on the selected date for the Test exam. The Test pattern is given below and administered to candidates at one time one after another if the Candidate is able to clear the tests one by one. Test detail is given here under as :
- Intelligence Test : 40 verbal + 60 non verbal questions
Time allowed 35 minutes - English Test: 50 questions
Time allowed 20 minutes - Biology and Physics: 25 questions each (Time allowed 20 minutes for each test)
- Personality Test (MCQs): 100 questions

What is the basic pay scale of FMA in PAF?
The basic pay scale of FMA is 5. You will reach high scales up to 16 as you complete your service.
Is it a good job?
FMA is a good job who want to become a nurse. If you have an interest in the nursing field. then yes, FMA is for you.
Can One Become a Doctor after Joining FMA?
No, One can not become a Doctor, after Joining PAF as a female medical assistant. The maximum Rank which is achievable is chief warrant officer after serving at least 25 years (16 Scale).

Walekum us Salam, After completion of BS psychology degree, You can apply for Psychologist posts in Army Navy and PAF, whenever announced. You can apply in lady cadet course, When advertisement mention requirement of Psychologists.

Please Note that All those people who applied in the month of January are not eligible to apply in May 2024 advertisement.

Yes, Fatima, You can apply for the FMA posts in PAF, although you wear glasses. But remember, it should be not worse than -3.5. (6/6 for both eyes with our without glasses)

As you have been Joined PAF, You will work in the PAF hospitals. You may request government to post out to the City where your husband will be already deployed. This can happen for the specific cities only, Where PAF infrastrucre exists.

1. Yes, Joining se Pehly, once again medical hoga, But dont worry, If you have cleared the first medical, 2nd medical exam us se easy hota hay, Only extreme cases / Severe Diseases me reject karty hen, Minor issues consider nai karty.
2. Yes, Final medical k bad Joining Hogi, Ap Uniform service ka Hissa ban jaatay ho
3. Training will be held in Karachi, for 6 to 9 Months.
4. Most important thing is name in the merit list.

Walekum us Salam, Unfortunately, You cannot complete your degree, due to posting issues. It is possible in the case, if you freeze your study and then You are posted to your hometown, Then there might be some possibility, Otherwise it is difficult to continue your studies.

Yes, Awanzadi, there are different methods to prepare for FMA tests. One is through Books. The only reason was No Test Preparation and They appear in the test.

Nai. MATRIC subjects k syllabus se he academic test hota hay… itna tough to nai hota.. if one prepare the MATRIC syllabus, she can easily pass the academic test for FMA.

DPT kon say Course me?? Army? Navy? If you are meeting the criteria of age limit for the Female medical assistant post, then Yes, you can apply. But I will Advise you to focus on Your DPT career, Which is more prestigious than the Female medical assistant.

Dear Shehroosh, You can Continue your study after getting the Job of FMA… but MBBS nai… coz Apka Transfer ho jaata hay… So You can Enroll yourself for 2 year Program in nearest college /Uni.. Regular study thori tough ho jaati hay Job k saath… Distance learning program is the other option apart from regular study. But I will advise you to please seek complete guidance before Joining the PAF as FMA..
