Important Tips: How to prepare for the GDP test?
Selection in the GDP branch is not an easy task and it requires huge effort. If an individual pass all the tests in the GDP branch and is somehow unable to come on the merit list, They are offered other commissioning like in Aeronautical engineer, Commission in PMA long course, or Pak Navy Cadet. Because The GDP test process is the most difficult of all, other courses. While preparing for the test, keep these things in your mind
- Know the Format of the test: You should know about how the tests are taken, what is the syllabus and what are the basic requirements? We have published all the procedures and relevant information on this website, you can read that before appearing in the test.
- Improve your physical fitness, although There is no physical test in initial, it will help you in ISSB.
- The GDP Test also assesses your mental aptitude, including your problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. To enhance your mental aptitude, you can practice solving problems, playing strategy games, and doing puzzles.
- Prepare for the following topics for the initial test of GDP: Intelligence (Both verbal and non verbal), English Grammar and usage, Physics. You can prepare these from your own FSc syllabus or you can download Federal textbook for better preparation.

You can register yourself online for the GDP vacancies in the Pakistan Air Force. Male vacancies were published in February 2023 while Female GD pilot vacancies were announced last time in August 2021.
