Which one have the highest Worth?

In all of the above 5 fields, general duty pilot (GDP) has the highest worth. They become chief of the air staff, only from the GD branch. After GDP, CAE has high worth, and Then remaining.

Ranks

All have similar ranks, as Pakistan army. Ranks start from Pilot officer to Air Chief Marshal. (In army: from 2nd lieutenant to General)

What is CAE?

Aeronautical engineers, are the leader of the engineering department. They supervise all the maintenance on Aircraft.

CAE stands for “Combat Aviation Engineering” in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). CAE is a specialized branch of the PAF responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of the PAF’s combat aircraft. The CAE branch includes highly trained engineers and technicians who work to ensure that the PAF’s aircraft are always in top condition and ready for combat operations.

The CAE branch of the PAF is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including inspecting and repairing aircraft components, testing aircraft systems, and developing and implementing maintenance procedures. The CAE branch is also responsible for training new technicians and engineers in the maintenance and repair of PAF aircraft.

Who is Air defense officer?

Air defense is the branch, who protects aerial boundaries from the ground. Working on Ground radars, Ground to air missiles, guiding Aircraft from the ground.

The role of an Air Defence Officer (ADO) is critical to the defense of an airspace. In the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), an ADO is responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Monitoring the airspace: ADOs use advanced radars and other equipment to monitor the airspace for any threats. They identify and track any unauthorized or unidentified aircraft in the airspace.
  2. Communication: ADOs maintain communication with other air defense units, air traffic control, and other ground units to provide situational awareness and coordinate response efforts.
  3. Response planning: Based on the information gathered from the monitoring systems, an ADO develops and implements response plans to neutralize potential threats. They may instruct fighter aircraft to intercept and neutralize any hostile aircraft in the airspace.
  4. Intelligence gathering: ADOs gather and analyze intelligence on potential threats and adversaries to ensure preparedness in case of an attack.
  5. Training and leadership: ADOs are responsible for training and leading other air defense personnel, including radar operators and other officers.

Who is Logistics officer?

Every department needs supplies to work. From a ballpoint to aircraft. Logistics means Keeping and organizing All the purchases from different markets, national and international.

A Logistics Officer is responsible for overseeing the movement, distribution, and storage of goods and supplies for an organization. In the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), the Logistics Officer is responsible for ensuring that the PAF’s operational and logistical needs are met. The main responsibilities of a Logistics Officer in the PAF include:

  1. Procurement: The Logistics Officer is responsible for procuring necessary supplies and equipment needed for PAF operations. They ensure that the equipment and supplies meet PAF standards and specifications and are purchased at the best possible prices.
  2. Inventory Management: Logistics Officers are responsible for managing inventory and maintaining stock levels of critical supplies and equipment. They ensure that supplies and equipment are available when needed and coordinate with other PAF units to forecast and plan future needs.
  3. Distribution: The Logistics Officer ensures that supplies and equipment are properly distributed to the right PAF units and personnel. They coordinate with other units to ensure that the supplies are distributed on time and according to operational requirements.
  4. Maintenance: The Logistics Officer oversees the maintenance and repair of PAF equipment and supplies. They ensure that equipment is maintained in good condition and properly stored.
  5. Transportation: Logistics Officers coordinate transportation of supplies and equipment from one location to another. They ensure that the transportation is carried out efficiently and cost-effectively.

Admin and Special Duties

In the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), the Admin and Special Duties Branch is responsible for providing administrative support to the PAF’s operations. The Admin and Special Duties Branch is one of the largest branches in the PAF and includes a wide range of duties and responsibilities, such as:

  1. Personnel Management: The Admin and Special Duties Branch is responsible for managing the personnel within the PAF, including recruitment, training, promotions, and welfare.
  2. Finance and Accounting: The Branch manages the financial affairs of the PAF, including budgeting, accounting, and auditing.
  3. Accommodation: The Branch provides accommodation and housing facilities for PAF personnel and their families.
  4. Messing and Catering: The Branch provides messing and catering facilities for PAF personnel and their families.
  5. Protocol and Ceremonials: The Branch organizes and manages all official ceremonies and events, including visits by foreign dignitaries and military exercises.
  6. Legal Services: The Branch provides legal advice and services to PAF personnel and deals with legal matters concerning the PAF.
  7. Information Technology: The Branch manages the PAF’s information technology infrastructure and services, including computer systems, networks, and communication systems.
  8. Special Duties: The Branch is responsible for carrying out special duties and tasks assigned by the PAF High Command.

  1. When is the expected date for AD and CAE registration for females in 2023?

    1. The advertisement will be published in August- September 2023. However, No surety about female vacancies inclusion. Please, wait till advertisement. Moreover, Female can not apply in AD branch of the PAF.

    1. Dear Mehwish, CAE means College or Course of Aeronautical engineer. Aeronautical engineer are those who lead the team of Maintenance on aircraft jets. You will perform duties in the engineering department of PAF.

    1. Dear Sidra, You can Apply in Pakistan air force as General duties pilot, Admin & Special Duties when announced. Pakistan air force me Females ki vacancies requirement base aati hen, Regular nai aati. So you should read each advertisement of the PAF. PAF saal me 2 dafa vacancy announce karti hay. Last time August 2021 me female jobs announce hwe thay. Wait for the next advertisement.

    2. And Sidra, You can also Apply as a Female Medical technician in PAF (Non-commission Jobs). The female medical assistant jobs are announced regularly every year.
