Understanding Self Confidence
Our confidence can be understood as involving two aspects of our personality individually. First is our sense of believing in our own self and hard work. This means that we see ourselves as able to understand skills and achieve goals in a particular field. We believe that if we learn and work hard in the field we will succeed. This kind of self-confidence leads people to accept difficult challenges, and to persevere when there are obstacles.
Example: A child who loves Mathematics and is able to easily solve his or her Mathematics classroom problems will accept the challenge of solving difficult major Math problems. He may not succeed soon, but he will succeed at the right time because of his confidence.
The second element of self-confidence is self-respect. It means the common sense that we can deal with what is happening in our lives. We consider ourselves competent in what we do and have a sense of humor doing things when we focus on them.
Example: A common man who is not very famous in acting, he was awarded a project involving a military Sacrifices. The man believed that he could play the role of the Rank of Major in the army in the famous movie. He believed he could look and act like The army officer. He did that with confidence. The most important factor was his vision (confidence).
