How to Join the Pakistan Navy all jobs and Vacancies, Pak Navy short service commission

Do you want to Join the Pakistan Navy? Do you have all the knowledge about the possible options to Join the Pakistan Navy? This blog post will help you to understand the possible options for the recruitment in Pak Navy. You can apply mainly in three categories (Uniform services).

  1. Permanent commission
  2. Short service commission
  3. As non-commissioned (Sailor)

Joining Pakistan Navy as PN Cadet (Long course/permanent commission)

Boys Who have passed their FSc pre-engineering with more than 60% marks can join the Pakistan Navy as PN Cadets (Girls can not apply for this course). There are various branches of the Pakistan Navy as a PN Cadet.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age should be less than 21 years and greater than 16.5 years. (Service candidates can apply up to 23 years)
  • The height requirement is 5 feet and 4 inches
  • Matric and FSc with Science group and at least 60% Marks
  • Fsc-Part I can also apply based on a hope certificate.

Fsc with the following subjects can apply.

  1. FSc with Physics, Math & Chemistry Or
  2. Physics, Math & Computer Science Or
  3. Physics, Math & Statistics or
  4. FSc pre-medical with Additional Maths

60% Marks are required in both Matric and FSc. Marital Status should be Unmarried,

As short service commissioned officer

Aspirants, Who have done BS or Master’s Degrees in certain Subjects can join the Pak Navy in various supporting branches like the Logistics branch, Education Branch, Public Relations officers, etc.

  • The age requirement for the Short commissioning is different for different branches.
  • Graduates applying in the Operation branch can apply up to 25 years of age.
  • The upper age limit for the Education branch is 28 years.
  • Medical Branch candidates can apply for up to 35 years.
  • Law Graduates can apply for up to 40 years in the Legal branch.
  • The minimum Height requirement is 5 feet and 4 inches for all branches (Females, if any: 5 Feet).

M cadet Scheme

Specialist Doctors

Both Males and Females after MBBS/BDS or after Specialization boys can apply for Medical Branch. They are awarded a rank equivalent to Captain or Major of Pakistan Army.

How you can join the Pakistan Navy as a Non-commissioned officer?

You can apply in the Pak navy in Non-commissioned jobs after matric in the Following Categories.

  • Sailors: Boys after Matric can join the Pak Navy as Sailor and join various trades.
  • Naval Police: Only boys can apply after completing their matric qualification.
  • Marine Branch: After matriculation, Boys can join the Pakistan Navy as elite commandos through Marine Branch
  • Stewards: Boys after matric can join Pak Navy as a steward. Stewards Work in Messes as Cook or Waiters.
