Join PAF as Airman: Details and Guidelines

To join the Pakistan Air Force as an airman, there is a certain criteria you have to fulfill and a selection process. Pakistan Air Force announces the airmen vacancies once or twice a year. You can Join PAF as an airman as the Pakistan Air Force announced the Registration for the post of PAF Airman jobs. Earlier these posts were announced in August and September, Nowadays these are announced in December / January.

Online registration Dates

The registration for the PAF airman was opened last time from 8 January to 14 January 2024.

Where to Register yourself online?

You have to register yourself online within the above-mentioned dates through the Pakistan Air Force Official website. For online registration and downloading Slip Please click on Joinpaf.gov.pk. Following are the eligibility criteria to join PAF as airmen.

Gender

Only Male candidates can apply for all posts or airmen, including aero trades, GC, Provost, MT driver, Sportsman, etc. Female candidates can apply for Medical assistant jobs only. Females should read How to Join as Female Medical assistant in PAF?

Qualification required?

Those candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination with 60% in Only Science Group are eligible. However, You can apply in GC and Provost trade if you have less than 60% marks in your secondary school certificate (Matric). For recruitment in GC, they need 50% marks and for provost 55% Marks.

Trades to Apply separately

Note: You can apply for one trade at a time. You cannot apply for the two trades. If you applied for the wrong post and you regret to change it later, then please wait for the test date On the test Date, while verifying your documents, You can inform the selection center staff to change your applied trade They will change it accordingly. Please, prepare for the relevant post accordingly, where do you want to join?

• Aerotrade (MAXIMUM VACANCIES)
• PF&DI Physical fitness and drill instructor (LESS VACANCIES)
• Provost
• GC
• firefighter
• Sportsman
• Female medical assistants

Among the above 7 trades, Aerotrades have the maximum vacancies than all. If your age and marks permit, You should apply for it.

Selection procedure

Following is the selection procedure for the PAF airman jobs.

1. Intelligence test (for All Trades)
2. English test ( For all trades)
3. Physics and Maths Test ( For AERO Trades only)
4. Personality test
5. Medical Examination
6. Interview

If you clear all the above 6 steps, chances are you will be selected for the PAF airman Job.
