Lt.colonel: wing commander equivalent to which rank of army.
Me: Lt. Colonel.

lt. Colonel : which unit and jet.
Me: 24 aviation squadron and jet is DA-20 and the last jet is f-16 falcon block 52.

LT. colonel: now what he is doing.
Me: currently serving as a security manager in halmore power plant company sheikhupura.

Lt. Col: ok, so you’re from skp. Which is the famous place.
Me: hiran minar.

Lt. Colonel: history of hiran minar.

Lt. Colonel: which course and which unit and where he is posted now.

Lt. Colonel : why you want to join Army.

Me: follow my farher foot steps and you become independent earlier and support my family.

Me: sir bhai ki abhi shaddi ki he kafi loan he tu me bhi agar chala jao tu easy ho jae ga aur.

Lt. Col: oh bhai tumne bhi agge shaddi karke kharche aur barha dene he.
Me: little smile but sir i ll try ke kam se kam ho.

LT. COL: if I will give you the not recommendation in interview. What will you do?

Me: sir i ll give entry test of nust and pias University and apply again in next course.

*Tips :*

*1 :Interview is totally in English.
But if colonel speak in urdu then you can speak in urdu other wise not.
Just focus on conveying your message in English.

2: Try to avoid strong vocabulary in speaking english.

3: strong grip about your personality, about your parents and siblings.

4: GK and CA, just help you to upgrade your performance in interview.
It will not effect your recommendation.

5: *Must focus on physiologist.
In situations test, just give a neutral and positive response.*

*INITIAL INTERVIEW TIPS*

*1*. Believe in yourself and believe in Allah.

*2*. Stay cool, calm and confident.

*3*. Don’t play with your expressions; keep a gentle
smile on your face.

*4*. Take permission before entering the room (May
I come in Sir?)

*5*. Your voice must be strong, clear and audible.

*6*. If the interviewer shakes hand with you then
it’s ok; otherwise just say “Assalam o Alaikum Sir”!

*7*. Don’t sit on the chair unless he/she tells you to sit.

*8*. Don’t stare at the roof and walls, keep focus on the interviewer.

*9*. Sit with your legs straight, don’t sit with
cross legs.

*10*. Your back must be straight, be alert and
don’t sit in a relaxed manner.

*11*. Don’t sit with both hands holding each other.
Keep them apart.

*12*. You will be asked to introduce yourself,
prepare your introduction well.

*13*. Introduction is the most important part of any
interview because it’s your first impression on
the interviewer. Avoid unnecessary details, stick to yourself only. Don’t mention your family
members, it will lengthen the intro and interviewer will get bored. A to-the-point introduction
consists of 3 parts:

i) Personal Info: Your full name, father’s name
and your city along with district.

ii) Educational Info: Includes info about your
degrees. Order must be latest degree first
then move to the next recent one (Masters >>
Bachelors >> FSc >> Matric). Include the
year of completion, your institution name,
obtained marks, total marks and
Percentage/Grade.

iii) What are you doing nowadays? Includes
information about the ongoing degree/job (if
any) and the course which you have applied for.

*14*. Answer in the same language in which the
question is asked.

*15*. If you are not sure about any answer, say
“Sorry Sir!”, avoid guessing.

*16*. Always give the close-most answer to every
mathematics related question. Don’t skip it.

*17*. Look into the eyes of the interviewer while
answering to show your confidence.

*18*. Don’t shake your head or move your hands
while explaining.

*19*. Do not laugh if he tries to crack a joke. Just
smile.

*20*. Personal questions will be asked, don’t get
angry, keep your cool and answer with logic.

*21*. Don’t play with your dress, tie or shirt.

*22*. Show patriotism and determination in your
answers.

*23*. First think, and then answer. Don’t give the
answer instantly because that will be considered a guess. Take your time even if you know the answer.

*24*. If you don’t know the answer, still take your
time, and say sorry. Don’t say sorry instantly.

Are we required to write essay during initial tests? What are details about it?

• There are 2 essays before initial interview, one is in English and the second is in Urdu.

• One can be an event related to our life.

• It can be happiest moment of our life, saddest news of our life, shocked new of our life , or any else topic related to candidates life.

• Candidates are given 10 to 15 minutes for one essay.

What points to be kept in view for writing Event of life essay during initial test or at ISSB
A true event essay, also known as a memory essay, is an essay that focuses on a single important moment or describes vivid recollections of memorable, reoccurring events.

Writing Life Event Essay in Initial Tests – Possible Topics:

1. Traveled to some hill station or adventurous place. Trip abroad etc.
2. Family reunion.
3. Won some award in sports or educational field.
4. Disappointment sorrowful moment.
5. Got married, got a job.
6. Completion of studies/ graduation.

Points to be kept in mind while writing a Life Event Essay:

1. Be truthful and honest, don’t bluff.
2. Be short, precise and readable.
3. Highlight your feelings well.
4. Narrate how this incident affected you / became so important for you.
5. Go prepared (for writing such incident).
6. Keep track of time.

What points to be kept in view for writing an Essay during initial Tests

A 10-15 minute essay may be there. Here are some tips which can be helpful.
– Organizing your ideas and make a quick outline (2-3 minutes)
– It’s a very short essay. Try to convey points – make a point with little or no explanation/ examples.
– Try to use short and clear sentences.
– Be legible and keep time available and the level of the reader in view while explaining a point.
