A lot of ISSB aspirants are asking through social media platforms about “ISSB call letter not received”. Therefore I felt I must write a post for you who are facing this issue..
The Difference in Shortlisting Procedure, PAF and Army
Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Army have different Shortlisting procedures for ISSB.
Pakistan Army Method of Shortlisting Candidates: After Clearing the Initial test, Medical, and Interview, All passed candidates fill out the ISSB forms. The ISSB forms are then Sent to GHQ. The GHQ Shortlist the candidate for ISSB and only those Candidates are called for ISSB who are shortlisted.
Pakistan Air force Method of Shortlisting candidates. After clearance of the Initial test, medical, and interview, The candidates are Shortlisted by the AHQ and They are called for ISSB Form filling after Shortlisting.
If you have submitted ISSB forms at the selection center, then You will receive your call Letter one day.. Don’t be Panic
All aspirants are requested to be not Panic… Focus on your ISSB test preparation, If you have submitted ISSB forms at your respective selection center, and You have good performance in Initial tests, then your turn will come, and one day your ISSB call letter will be issued.
Check your call status, once a week
Aspirants are requested to check the online status of the call letter from time to time. Once your ISSB is scheduled, ISSB issues a letter 20 days before. There are chances, Letter through post office reach late. So it is better to check call status with the passage of time.

I submitted forms 2 months ago, but still haven’t received my Call letter. I am worried.
You don’t need to worry, for some candidates, it took less than a month while for others it might take more than two months. If you still didn’t get any call letter, you are lucky to have more time for ISSB test preparation.

Why the Call letter issuance process is slow?
The Call letter process is slow because Each ISSB center has a specific capacity to examine the ISSB candidates. For PMA, PAF, and Navy long courses the number of candidates is higher than in other courses and it took time to Test all the Shortlisted candidates
I am worried, that I might miss the chance to appear at ISSB
You don’t need to worry, as well as the Issb for your batch is in process. For example, You have applied for the 149 PMA long course, and the ISSB for the 149 course is being held and some other force ISSB is not started. You will receive your call letter before starting the ISSB for the next Course.

What if my Call letter has not been received and the ISSB for my batch is over?
In this case, you should call the ISSB Kohat and ask them about the situation. They will tell you about your ISSB forms. If they didn’t receive it, then it Means, You are not Shortlisted. However, if your Course ISSB is in process, then avoid it.

Aoa, sir I have applied for CAE long course and interview was held on sep20 I got two stars in it and I believe that initial test was also good, but I don’t not get call letter along few other girls. Should I still wait for It or not.

AOA, I have given my initial of PAF in August and received two stars in the Interview, I’ve contacted the board and they replied that only 45 girls are called for ISSB, is there any possibility that I can still get the call, or should I have to give the initial next time again?

Yes, only selected girls are called for the issb to form a Single Batch. A Single batch consists of varying candidates i.e. 210 to 250 candidates.
Can I still fill ISSB form again and apply for that or I have to give all initial tests again next time?

Dear Eman, Issb calls are updated for female candidates. Those who have not recieved the calls, i.e. online updated status… they are simply Not shortlisted.

There is no official process… to check the Shortlisted candidates
Is there any hope to receive the call with 151L/c as I heard 149 L/c left over candidates received the call letters with 150 L/c for ISSB.
I also heard if ISSB form submitted for L/c then ISSB must be held for that candidate.

Dear Hashir, You might be Not Shortlisted for the issb by Pakistan army. In army, candidates first fill the issb forms after clearing Initials and then GHQ shortlist the candidates for issb. Accordingly, Your forms might not be recieved by the issb board. You can apply in the next batch and also Wait for the announcement. Because Last time 149 me jo candidates Issb se reh gaye thay, unko 150 pma long course k saath bulaya tha…

Sir kindly guide me. i applied for long course, havent received call letter, i checked call status and there is no record. isubmitted my form over 2 months ago.And last 20 days of issb LC aregoing. i emailed them but the email isnot workable.

Dear Asim, Don’t be Impatient. The dispatch of Call letters for PaF courses are just in beginning phase and candidates will recieve their Call letters in the span of 02 months. i.e May and June 2022. Be hopeful and continue your issb test preparation. In sha Allah, You will receive call, once scheduled.
